In addition to book-related signings and events, Eliza regularly teaches classes and gives talks about writing topics to audiences of all ages. To schedule a speaking engagement or for additional information, please contact her. Here are some of her upcoming and recent appearances:

  • August 10-12, 2012 – Eliza will sign books at the Denver County Fair.
  • March 3, 2012 – Eliza will attend the launch party for the new book Until They Have Faces: Stories of Recovery, Resilience, and Redemption, an anthology honoring Boulder’s homeless community, for which she was a contributor.
  • February 25, 2012 – Eliza will appear at the Idaho Springs Library at 11 a.m. to prepare a bacon recipe and sign 101 Things To Do With Bacon for its “Books and Cooks” program.
  • November 17, 2011 – Eliza appeared on the panel “Hungry to Learn About Food Writing?” for the Colorado Authors’ League along with chef/author Michele Morris, Elisa Bosley – Senior Food Editor at Delicious Living, and Lynne Eppel – Publisher/Editor of Edible Front Range.
  • With co-author Darla Worden at Valley Books in Jackson Hole

  • August 11, 2011 – Eliza signed copies of 101 Things To Do With Bacon at Tony’s Market in Denver. Two giant bacon strips lured customers in from the street, and one lucky reader won a year’s supply of Tony’s private label bacon.
  • March 19, 2011 – Eliza represented ASJA at Writers’ Fest at the Tattered Cover LoDo.
  • February 14, 2011 – Eliza presented “Food Writing is Fun” to the second grade class at Lois Lenski Elementary School in Littleton, CO.
  • September 25, 2010 – Eliza participated in “Pitchapalooza” at the Writers & the Independent Marketplace Conference presented by the Mountain & Plains Independent Booksellers Association.
  • November 7, 14 and 21, 2009 – Eliza presented a creative writing workshop, “Writing Your Life,” at three Denver metro area libraries.
  • July 18, 2009 – Eliza and co-author Darla Worden signed copies of The Rusty Parrot Cookbook at the wonderful independent Valley Bookstore in Jackson, Wyoming.
  • November 9, 2008 – Eliza signed books at the Author Open House at Koelbel Library.
  • May 24, 2007 – Eliza presented the writing workshop, “Finish What You Write and Send it Off!” at the Golden Library
  • November 9, 2008 – Eliza signed books at the 2008 Author Open House at Koelbel Library.
